Driveway and Landscaping

Belmont Mills has the capacity to build or dress up your driveway or landscaped areas.

Our state approved limestone is able to withstand constant traffic as well as the freeze and thaw cycles of our climate. With our spreader truck we are able to apply an even top coat to your current driveway. If you are building a new drive we are able to provide larger quantities that your contractor will be able to spread as necessary.

Belmont Mills also stocks river gravel which is often used as a cost effective form of landscaping.

Bagged Salt

Winter Melt – 50lb bags/49 bags per skid

Unique sizing mixture of large and small crystals of natural sodium chloride - small crystals melt on contact and large crystals provide longevity and instant traction. Works best down to temperatures of 5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Green Melt – 50lb bags/49 bags per skid

A green-tinted, high performance ice melt product containing a blend of sodium, calcium and magnesium chlorides for faster, colder temperature melting than regular rock salt. Works down to -5 degrees Fahrenheit. Tinting allows for easy to see coverage on ice and packed snow

Jiffy Melt – 40lb bags/63 bags per skid

Specially formulated blend of magnesium chloride and sodium chloride which allows for fast action and lower application rates. Works down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit.

PelaDow – Calcium Chloride – 50lb bags/55 bags per skid

Melts ice up to 3 times faster than competing materials, and outperforms other products across a wide range of temperatures. The round shape of PELADOW™ helps it penetrate ice and break the bond with the pavement more quickly than flat or crystal-shaped ice melts, allowing easy removal of ice and snow. Safer for use on concrete and around pets. Effective down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Great for making brine and for dust control.

Magnesium Chloride – 50lb bags/48 bags per skid

Magnesium Chloride Flakes are designed to be safer for plants, pets, yards and concrete. Effective down to -15 degrees Fahrenheit. Also effective for Dust Control.

Water Softener Salt

Belmont Mills carries Diamond Crystal® brand water softener salt. Our SuperSoft® Salt guarantee is your assurance of quality and our commitment to stand by each and every bag of Diamond Crystal® water conditioning salt.

Bright & Soft Pellets

Made with up to 99.8% pure salt, this premium-purity softener salt has a uniquely compacted shape for extra hardness. Virtually 100% water soluble, it is specially formulated to resist mushing and bridging in the brine tank-- helping to keep your softener clean and trouble-free.
